Recyclable Paper Twice a Month
Newspapers and Inserts, Magazines, Corrugated cardboard, Milk cartons, Other paper
Other paper is subdivided.
Items which may be disposed of as waste paper;
Paper cartons: having held food and daily necessity items.
Paper bags: having held food and daily necessity items.
Paper dividers: having been used for food and daily necessity items.
Postcards, direct mail letters, envelopes, etc.
Paper cans and cups, items which held food or drink.
Wrapping material such as received from department stores.
Other: carbon paper, printer paper, etc.
*Please dispose of the above materials by placing them into a paper bag or container. (do not use cardboard)
*Please seal the opening with tape or twine and write the block organizations name on the container.
Items which may not be disposed of as waste paper (please dispose as “burnable garbage”);
Items which still have contents – upon cleaning the items thoroughly, it may be disposed.
Items containing fluid, water, oil, etc. (including wet tissue)
Items containing alluminium, ie. foil from cigarrette packs, gum wrappers, instant noodle packages.
Items containing vinyl, ie, paper treated with vinyl.
Photographs, photographic paper.
Large brown rice bags (30kg)
+Do not put out on rainy days.
+Seal with paper type tape (do not use rubber type tape.)
+Newspapers and inserts may be disposed of together.
+Milk cartons should be dried, cut, stacked and tied together.
+Do not throw away bags with non-paper handles.
+Please ensure that bundles do not come apart.
