At the Mishima Calendar Museum many experiences are planned to give everyone a chance to experience the calendar’s history and culture. The museum will offer lantern making, Mishima Tea Bowl making, Mishima Calendar making, etc. This will come about with the cooperation of many volunteer groups.

How to get there.

Bus: Take the East going Circular Bus from bus stop 1. Get off at Mishima Taisha West Parking. (5min.)

Walk: From Mishima Stn. South exit walk 1.2 km.

Car parking: Mishima Shrine parking lot (fee). The Mishima Calendar Museum has no parking.

Hours: 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Note, for groups over 20, a reservation is required. Please contact the museum a week in advance.

The museum is closed on Mondays. (When a national holiday is on a Monday, the next day the museum is closed. The museum is closed from Dec. 27 to Jan. 1^st.

Entrance is free.
